ABAC’s Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education offers an experience-rich pathway for future PreK–5 teachers. Built on ABAC’s legacy of serving Georgia’s communities, the program combines rigorous coursework with early and continuous field experiences in rural classrooms. Students enter as a fall cohort and progress through four structured blocks, gaining hands-on experience across multiple grade levels and graduating ready to teach and lead with confidence.

Rural Focus - Experience the strengths and close-knit partnerships that define Georgia’s rural schools through hands-on fieldwork in multiple districts.

Learning in Action - Apply what you learn each semester with real classroom experiences and coursework in literacy, STEM, and effective teaching practices.

Prepared to Lead - Graduate fully certified and ready to make an immediate impact, whether teaching in rural communities or classrooms across Georgia.

Complete at least 60 credit hours of core coursework with a 2.5 or higher GPA and a grade of C or better in all required prerequisite courses.

Finish EDUC 2110, 2120, and 2130; ENGL 1101; ISCI 2001 and 2002; and MATH 2008 plus one college-level math.

Pass the GACE Ethics 351 Exam, ABAC’s Elementary Education Writing Prompt Exam, and obtain GaPSC pre-service certification.
